Kickstarting her career at 15, Ella Burkhardt had her debut performance at the renowned Jazz Baltica Festival in 2017. Since then she has frequented many stages in various genres and projects, ranging from soul and indie folk to jazz. In June 2024 she received her bachelor’s degree in Jazz Vocals at the Conservatory of Maastricht (Netherlands) and recorded her first live-album of that same year. Part of a unique project that involved a fully analog recording, exclusive non-digital release, she recorded it at the legendary Bauer-Studios in Ludwigsburg (Germany) alongside musicians Nils Landgren (tbn, voc), Ingolf Burkhardt (tp), Marius Goldhammer (b), Christian Frentzen (p), Stephan Schuchardt (dr) and longstanding guitarist, Kjell Kitzing.
